Falco peregrinus  /  בז נודד

How to play the Peregrine Falcon

Climb well above a flock of doves or sparrows and hold R to lock onto one in front of you. Then dive with Shift and hold T to stoop, and hit it fast: below 50 km/h the strike does not land.

R Target Lock
R locks onto a flying sparrow or dove within a 30 degree cone and 140 m ahead. Fly into it fast to make the catch.
T Stoop
Hold T in a dive to tuck harder: drag drops by three quarters and the dive speed rises toward 320 km/h.
C Kek-kek-kek
a harsh "kek-kek-kek".

The real bird

The Peregrine Falcon is the fastest animal on Earth: in a stoop it can pass 300 km/h. It hunts other birds in the air, striking them at speed, and in Israel it is seen along cliffs, cities and migration routes, mostly in winter.

The calls you hear in the game are real recordings from xeno-canto.org, credited in the game's sound credits.
