How to play the Hooded Crow

Pick up a nut with R, climb above 8 m over the asphalt and press T to drop it. It only cracks on asphalt. Near smaller birds, T bullies them off their food instead.

R Grab / Eat
pick up a nut (carry it in your bill) or eat spilled grain and scraps.
T Drop / Bully
T while carrying: drop the nut - it only cracks on asphalt from 8 m+. Otherwise T bullies smaller birds off their food.
C Caw
rasping "kraa".

The real bird

The Hooded Crow is one of the cleverest birds in the region. Crows are known to drop hard-shelled food onto roads and rocks to crack it, and they scavenge widely around farms and towns.

The calls you hear in the game are real recordings from xeno-canto.org, credited in the game's sound credits.
