The real bird
The Common Kingfisher is a small, brilliant blue-and-orange bird of rivers, ponds and fish pools. In Israel it is mostly a winter visitor. It watches from a low perch, then dives head-first to seize small fish, and nests at the end of a tunnel it digs into an earth bank.
The calls you hear in the game are real recordings from xeno-canto.org, credited in the game's sound credits.
